When director Jane Schoenbrun made gender horror I Saw the TV Glow in 2024, it almost wasn’t shown in Dutch cinemas. But the Cineville theatres joined forces to bring it to the Netherlands exclusively anyway, through A24. Fortunately, we don't have to launch a rescue mission this time, because Schoenbrun is so back on the big screen, right where their work belongs. With Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma – which scooped the Queer Palm in Cannes this year – Schoenbrun makes a delightful sleepover classic about pop culture, being queer, and slashers.
