Following the death of his father (Josh Brolin), Jay Gardiner (Austin Abrams) goes diving off the coast of California to search for his remains, only to be swallowed whole by a giant whale. Trapped inside the whale's belly with just one hour of oxygen left, Jay realizes that the lessons his father taught him might just hold the key to his escape.
