Tristan Forever

For thirty years, Parisian doctor Loran Bonnardot has been visiting the most remote inhabited island in the world: Tristan da Cunha. Surrounded by rugged volcanic mountains, green slopes and the endless Atlantic Ocean, he's found a second home there.

The islanders have become Loran's chosen family, and local fisherman Martin his best friend. Now, at fifty years old, Loran decides to leave his life in Paris behind and settle on the island for good. But joining the small community of 230 inhabitants turns out to be far from easy. As the island council decides his future, Loran discovers that this paradise on earth doesn't just offer freedom, but also requires taking others into account.
