Human Nature

Sophie (30) decides to embark on a 500-kilometre trek through the Arctic region of Norway. She wants to escape the pressure of work, studies, friends and the constant feeling of having to measure up to her siblings. Before long, she finds herself in Lapland, in one of Europe's last remaining wildernesses.

All she wants is to be alone: to experience the grandeur of nature and find ultimate peace and quiet. But life back home doesn't seem to understand her, and stepping away from it all proves harder than expected.

Human Nature was made by the team behind The North. To make Sophie's story as authentic as possible, director Bart Schrijver and lead actor Jamie Bouwmeester headed into the Norwegian wilderness with a small crew to complete that epic 500-kilometre journey themselves.
