June 1940. France surrenders to the German army and signs the armistice. Amidst the chaos, one man refuses to accept the situation: General de Gaulle. Now an enemy of the state, he flees to London without an army, support or hope, to pick up the pieces of his fallen homeland. Following Résistance, Charles de Gaulle's story continues in Liberté.
