Documentary about a tense family dynamic. “Our family is cursed, because of my two children, one is gay and the other has mental health issues,” says Quang's mother.

Quang decides to film his family when his nine-years-older, neurodivergent sister Mai turns out to be pregnant. Quang's free-spirited life in Hanoi clashes with the more traditional province of Lào Cai. His family knows nothing about his American partner or the eccentric outfits he wears to Hanoi's gay clubs.
